We hereby announce the 2011 KSPS Program Implementation Plan and New Project Application Support Plan.

1. Program Information
a. Objectives
- Enhancing the competitiveness of Korean Studies through advanced research support system and management
- Guaranteeing the continuity of Korean Studies research through the fostering of next generation academics
- Contribution to the improvement of the Korean nation brand through the popularization of Korean studies

In the second half year

  *For new projects in the Overseas Korean Studies Incubation Program, additional support would be possible if money is left over from other Korean Studies Promotion Service programs.
  *Two programs (Korean Diaspora, New Understanding Korean History and Culture) will be announced during the first half year (around June).

2. Restrictions on Applications and Participations
- Researchers will be prohibited from participating in research projects if they are found to be involved in more than 3 projects supported by the Korean Studies Promotion Service, or other research institutions and organizations.
- The current projects whose project periods end before December 31, 2011 do not affect the restrictions.

 *Regarding the Research Proposal Form, how to fill in the form, and other required document, please refer to the Application Guidelines for each program.
